The Conner Hat range of leather hats consists of oily leather, which is oil and waxes added as the leather gets treated, and also some you can see, this suede is quite dusty, and the simplest way to clean it is to take your paintbrush. There are quite a few ways to clean suede. It's not an easy task, but it can be done.
